I was born in Pasco, Washington but spent most of my childhood in New Mexico. I played high school football at Lovington High School with my brother Brian. I also ran track, played basketball and baseball during my high school years. After high school I played football for New Mexico Military Institute and later Lake Forest College of Economics and Business. After graduating I played for the Chicago Bears, Peoria Pirates, Nashville Kats and Chicago Rush.
